Who was he?
Nikola Tesla, born July 10, 1856, was a Serbian-American inventor, engineer and physicist. He was a true genius and a holder of hundreds of patents. Many of today's common devices were created by, or built off of previous creations of Tesla, including, the electric motor, the radio, the lightbulb, alternating current, and computers. Many of his patents from over 100 years ago, have lasted until modern times, and are still being used in current day machines.
